We don't just provide home loans to our clients, we provide them with the lowest interest rates and highest level of customer service in the industry. David Powell, President & Sr. Mortgage Consultant
David is a Indianapolis native and Indiana University Alumnus now living in Carmel, Indiana. He has over 16 years of experience as a mortgage broker with a primary focus on purchase mortgages. He prides himself on providing a superior client experience through the mortgage process with comprehensive communication and education. Unsatisfied with other brokers and loan officers placing profits above all else, David opened Powell Home Mortgage in 2016 with a “Client First” mantra. He truly believes that a client’s best interest should supersede everything when they are making one of the most important financial decisions in their life. When not serving his clients, David spends his time boating and fishing on Lake Wawasee with his wife, daughter, and their two dogs. 
Dakota Baisa, Sr. Mortgage Consultant
Born and raised in Indianapolis, Dakota attended North Central High School and later IU Indianapolis to obtain her B.S. in Psychology. Having an entrepreneurial spirit, she started, owned, and operated a residential and commercial cleaning business while in college. She ran that business, along with a dozen employees, successfully for nearly a decade before getting into the mortgage industry in February of 2019.
Dakota’s strong interpersonal skills allow her to build lasting relationships with her clients and effectively communicate with them the ins and outs of the loan process. She is passionate about giving consumers an honest and integrity-driven mortgage experience, seeking out the lowest rates available and putting her client’s best interest above all else.
When not writing loans, you’d probably catch Dakota on a baseball field somewhere in Indiana or the surrounding states with the 17U team that she has coached since 2011. She also prides herself as mom, runner, endurance athlete, amateur hiker/adventurer and avid lover of life!
Anisa Baisa, Operations Specialist
Anisa was born and raised on the northside of Indianapolis. With a B.A. in Communication Studies from IU Indianapolis, she began her professional career with a focus in customer service and sales. Her drive for providing unparalleled customer service and an employer whose ethics aligned with her own brought her to Powell Home Mortgage.
Anisa’s belief is that the most valuable work skill to have is simply the mindset to do your best because when one does, not only do clients receive exceptional care, but you have a sense of accomplishment in your work and success in yourself.
In her spare time, Anisa enjoys baking with her daughter and husband, practicing pilates, and everything true crime!
